Break Free From the Doubt Spiral

An intensive program for people who are tired of overthinking everything and ready to trust themselves again.

If you’ve been experiencing…

  • Constant doubt about things most people seem certain about
  • Getting pulled into your head and losing hours to mental review
  • Your world getting smaller as you avoid anything that might trigger the spiral
  • Exhaustion from trying to think your way to certainty

An ICBT Intensive can help you…

  • Recognize when you’ve crossed into the OCD bubble — and learn how to step back out
  • Stop treating “what if” like “what is”
  • Build trust in your own perception again
  • Make real progress in weeks instead of months of weekly therapy

What is an intensive therapy program?

Instead of spreading therapy out over months of weekly sessions, an intensive compresses your treatment into a focused period  so you’re not stuck between sessions waiting to feel better.

Our ICBT Intensive includes 12 sessions over 4 weeks, typically meeting three times per week, plus text access to your therapist between sessions when you get stuck or need guidance.

This format works well for people who are tired of slow progress, who have tried traditional therapy without the results they wanted, or who just so sick of OCD taking over their lives they’re ready to do what it takes to get control again.

An intensive won’t “cure” OCD in a month but most people see more progress in these four weeks than they’ve made in months (or years) of weekly therapy. And you’ll leave with skills you can keep using on your own.

Are intensives right for me?

We offer an Intensive program for people who are ready to go from constantly on edge to living life again.

An intensive might be a good fit for you if…

  • You’re done waiting to feel better and want real momentum now
  • You’ve tried weekly therapy before and felt like progress was too slow
  • You have something specific you want to be able to do, like travel, go back to work, stop avoiding situations with your family
  • You’re ready to do focused, concentrated work (not just talk about it)

An intensive might NOT be a good fit for you if…

  • You’re still figuring out whether you’re ready to work on this
  • You’d prefer a slower pace with more time to process between sessions
  • The time or financial commitment doesn’t work for you right now

What are the benefits of an intensive?

Momentum matters. OCD loses its power when you stop giving it space to regroup. Weekly therapy means six days between sessions for doubt to creep back in. An intensive keeps you moving forward before old patterns can settle back in.

You get support when you actually need it. With text access to your therapist between sessions, you’re not spiraling alone until your next appointment. When you get stuck, you get help  more quickly, not next Tuesday.

Skills build on each other. Meeting three times a week means you’re practicing something new while the last session is still fresh. You’re not spending half of every appointment trying to remember where you left off.

How does the intensive work?

First, we make a plan. We start with a 90-minute intake where you tell us what’s been going on, what’s getting in the way of your life, and what you want to be different. We set a clear goal and map out your 30 days.

Then, we get to work. Over the next four weeks, we meet three times a week  twelve sessions total.

Between sessions, you’ll have text access to your therapist when you get stuck or need support (with up to 48 hours response time). You’ll also have work to build skills and keep momentum going between our meetings.

And we don’t just cut you loose. After the intensive, you’ll meet twice more with your therapist (at two weeks and four weeks out)  to check in, troubleshoot, and make sure things are sticking.

After 30 days, you’ll have:

  • A clear understanding of how your OCD actually works (not just “it’s anxiety”)
  • Skills to recognize when you’ve slipped into the doubt spiral and how to step out
  • Confidence that you can handle triggers without needing to figure everything out first
  • A plan for staying on track after the intensive ends

Other FAQs

What if I'm not ready or can't keep up with the pace?

The intensive is structured but flexible. You’ll meet three times a week, and your therapist is available by text in between so if something’s not clicking or you’re feeling overwhelmed, you can adjust. You don’t have to be “ready” in some perfect way. You just have to be willing to show up.

What is my investment?

The intensive is $4,000, which includes the intake, all 12 sessions, text support throughout the month, and two follow-up sessions after we wrap up. You’ll also get access to the full ICBT video curriculum and worksheets so you have tools to use between sessions and resources to come back to after we’re done. Most clients see more progress in these 30 days than in months of weekly therapy and you’ll leave with skills you can use for life.

How is this different from regular therapy?

Weekly therapy gives OCD a lot of room to regroup between sessions. An intensive keeps the momentum going so you’re not constantly starting over. Plus, ICBT focuses on the reasoning patterns that keep you stuck, not just managing symptoms.

Will my insurance cover an intensive?

We are not in network with insurance. We can provide a superbill for the intake session (CPT code 90791) and for the individual sessions.

Can I do an intensive virtually?

Yes, ICBT intensives can be done virtually in most states.

What happens after the 30 days?

You’re not on your own. You’ll meet with your therapist twice after the intensive wraps (at two weeks and four weeks) to troubleshoot, reinforce what’s working, and make sure you feel solid. And you keep access to the video curriculum and worksheets for as long as you need them.
