The Search for Certainty that Never Ends

Living with OCD often means chasing a kind of certainty that never comes. You might be scrolling through forums, re-reading messages, asking the same questions in slightly different ways, all in hopes of finally feeling sure enough to move on.

But that feeling rarely sticks, and then you’re pulled right back into the loop, analyzing what you missed or what it might mean.

You may have tried therapy before, or even exposure-based work, and found pieces of it helpful. But maybe it felt like you were pushing through rather than understanding what was actually driving the fear. Maybe it gave you a structure, but not the shift you were hoping for.

If you’re exhausted from effort that never quite pays off the way you hope, this program offers a different way in.

Not a quick fix, and not a set of rules to follow, but a clear, structured process that helps you see how OCD gets its hold on you in the first place, and how to loosen it.

What You Can Expect From the 4 Week Program

This 4-week online intensive is built around Inference-Based CBT, a lesser-known but well-supported approach to treating OCD that focuses on how intrusive doubts form, not just how to resist them. If you’re new to ICBT, you can learn more about it in our short mini class here.

Instead of relying on exposure to feared situations, ICBT teaches you how to recognize the reasoning errors and identity-level fears that fuel compulsions in the first place. Through short lessons, concrete examples, and guided exercises, you’ll learn to spot OCD in real time and respond in a way that helps you stay present and clear-headed.

Program Logistics

  • Program Duration:  The program is available anytime. Once you enroll, you’ll get instant access to all course materials and can begin whenever you’re ready.
  • Pacing: We recommend moving through two to three lessons each week, which keeps the content digestible without feeling rushed. Most people complete the full program in about a month, but you have acess tothe content for 6 mnths, so you can revisit the materials whenever you need a refresher.
  • Live Support: Drop in Q& A meetings will be held online for 50 minutes, every Tuesday at 12:00 CST to discuss challenges and questions together.
  • One-on-One Time: You’ll also get two private 30-minute sessions with Dr. Kertz during the program. These can be scheduled early on to get oriented, midway when things feel stuck, or toward the end to plan what’s next.
  • Online Access to Course Materials: Recorded lessons, exercises, handouts, tips, and worksheets to help you develop and apply skills.
  • Fee: $445 for the full program or $112 per week, which includes all program resources, email support, weekly calls, and two 30 minute 1:1 sessions with Dr. Kertz.
  • Expectations: This program is meant to teach you many skills quickly and supercharge your progress. Like learning any new skills, long term benefits depend on consistent practice and application. We’ll make a “next steps” plan at the end of the program.
  • Commitment: This is a full 4-week program and spots are limited. By enrolling, you’re committing to engage in this structured experience, with a focus on achieving sustainable, meaningful change.
  • Refund Policy: Because space is limited and the structure is intentionally supportive, we don’t offer refunds. Your enrollment helps us keep the program small and tailored to the people who join.
